What is the difference between a self-managed server and a fully managed server?

Self-managed: You have full (root) access to the server. We deliver Proxmox VE preinstalled and operational, but daily management (updates, configuration, monitoring, security) is your responsibility. We only intervene for hardware operations (component replacement) or a complete system reinstallation upon request.
Fully managed: You retain full administrator access to the Proxmox VE web interface (to manage your VMs and containers), but SSH root access to the server is not provided. We handle system administration: updates, security patches, monitoring, and technical support. This gives you a turnkey server, always secured and maintained, without having to manage the system layer yourself.

Can I upgrade from a dedicated server to a hosted Proxmox VE private cloud?
